Preference is for onsite resource, but open tohybrid arrangement.

If prior VA state agency experience as a PM, please make sure you upload acompleted reference. Having this will be a big plus for your candidate.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Knowledge and Skills

·      Mastery of project managementmethodology and experience or familiarity with major, defined programmanagement approaches (PMI, Agile, Six Sigma). PMP Certification REQUIRED.

·      Significant knowledge of projectplanning/scheduling tools (for example, Microsoft Project), with a solid trackrecord of practical application.

·      Exceptional verbal and writtencommunication skills; expertise in setting and managing customer expectations.

·      Effective influencing andnegotiating skills in an environment in which this role may not directlycontrol resources.

·      Strong knowledge andunderstanding of business needs, with the ability to establish and maintain ahigh level of customer trust and confidence.

·      Ability to lead project team tomatch solutions to business requirements, including leadership in research oncurrent and emerging technology options.

Experience

·      Seven or more years ofprogressively responsible IT experience.

·      Five years of successfullymanaging complex and risky projects.

·      Five or more years of businessunit or business-unit-facing experience, with commitment to business problemsolving.

·      Experience in leading diverse teams.

·      Experience and ability in using"soft skills" or "people skills".

·      Experience with implementation ofsoftware systems and platforms.

·      Experience meeting withstakeholders and clients and gathering the project's requirements, goals, andscope.

Experiencewith these supporting processes:

·      Knowledge of the SystemDevelopment Lifecycle

·      Workflow and prioritization ofassignments.

·      Integration with calendaring andemail for work management.

·      Correspondence management.

·      Document management includingstorage, retrieval, and version control.

·      Mobile access.

·      Payment engines (collections fromcustomers).

·      Business intelligence.
