Please notethat this position is 100% REMOTE A263 The business system analyst is responsible for solving business problems,business architecture, process optimization, business rules, business cases,business requirements, organizational change (communications), and UAT. 12+years of experience. Formulates and defines systems scope and objectives basedon user needs and a thorough understanding of business systems and industryrequirements. a) Therole of the business system analysis is to understand and document currentbusiness procedures and identify areas for improvement. This person willprovide hands-on business process requirements analysis in support of OracleCloud ERP and related applications. b) Incollaboration with internal departments and external resources, plans, designsand implements financial systems solutions. Although understanding of thecurrent state of the organization is necessary prior to recommending changesrelated to implementing a new business solution. c) Undergeneral supervision, formulate and define system scope and objectives throughresearch. d) Thebusiness systems analyst is responsible for the knowledge transfer of businessrequirements to the application developers. e) Thebusiness analyst shall be able to make cogent arguments recommending a courseof action. f) TheBusiness analyst needs to scour through enormous amounts of information in thebusiness area they support to find the salient points. g) Newbusiness patterns happen all the time and detecting them can provide asignificant advantage. The business analyst shall be able to identify andaddress the change in the business process. h) Thebusiness analyst shall understand the variety of standard ideas and methods forrequirements gathering and translate what the business wants into ITrequirements and functional design specifications. i) Thebusiness analyst shall be able to create trust between Business and IT teams. j) Thebusiness analyst shall assist in identifying and implementing various softwaresolutions. k) Thebusiness analyst shall provide application support for business users. l) Thebusiness analyst shall have the ability to write conversion, interface, reportsand extension functional design specification. m) Thebusiness analyst shall have experience supporting data cleanup, data conversionand reconciliation activities. n) Thebusiness analyst shall have experience supporting month-end and year-endactivities, including reconciliation. o) Thebusiness analyst shall be able to review design specifications developed byother analysts and provide feedback on design documents. p) Thebusiness analyst shall be able to write white papers and solutionrecommendations as needed. q) Thebusiness analyst shall be able to support testing and conduct training. r) Formulatesand defines systems scope and objectives based on user needs and a thoroughunderstanding of business systems and industry requirements. s) Devisesor modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipmentcapacity and limitations, operation time, and form of desired results. t) Includesanalysis of business and user needs, documentation of requirements, andtranslation into proper system requirements specifications. Education: 1. Bachelor'sDegree in Information Technology, Finance, Business, Accounting or relatedfield, or 2. Theequivalent combination of education and successful work experience (10 years)and 3. CPACertification is Preferred Qualifications: Oracle ERP Cloud Product/Functional Specialist Level 2–Procure to Pay Process Area 1) 12+years of Business Analyst experience (Required) 2) 12+Years of Software Development Lifecycle experience (Required) 3) 12+years of requirements gathering and documentation experience (Required) 4) 12+years of Microsoft Excel/Word/Visio/PowerPoint experience (Required) 5) 12+years of Oracle Financials EBS/Cloud Suite experience (Required) 6) 12+years of experience working as an Oracle Functional Subject Matter Expert/SMEin Procure to Pay Process Area (Required) 7) 8+years of experience with month-end and year-end closing and reconciliation inProcure to Pay Process Area (Required) 8) Demonstrableexpertise within the Oracle Cloud ERP suite. Specific expertise is requiredwithin the following modules: Oracle Purchasing and Oracle Payables. 9) 8+years of experience providing production support for Oracle EBS/CloudApplication 10) 8+Years' experience implementing Oracle ERP Cloud Procure to Pay Process Area(Required) 11) Experiencewith Public Sector implementation Required/Desired Skills Candidates musthave ALL the "Required" skills in order to be considered for the position."Desired" or "Highly Desired" skills are a PLUS but may NOT be required.
