Oracle Product Functional Specialist Level 2– Budget toReport Process Area 100% REMOTE OK
The Contractor personnel shall perform the following duties and responsibilitiesfor the Oracle Product Functional Specialist Level 2–Budget to Report ProcessArea: a. The business system analyst is responsible forsolving business problems, business architecture, process optimization,business rules, business cases, business requirements, organizational change(communications), and UAT. 12+ years of experience. Formulates and defines systemsscope and objectives based on user needs and a thorough understanding ofbusiness systems and industry requirements. b. The role of the business system analysis is tounderstand and document current business procedures and identify areas forimprovement. This person will provide hands-on business process requirementsanalysis in support of Oracle Cloud ERP and related applications. c. In collaboration with internal departments andexternal resources, plans, designs and implements financial systems solutions.A thorough understanding of the current state of the organization is necessaryprior to recommend changes related to implementing a new business solution. d. Under general supervision, formulate and definesystem scope and objectives through research e. The business systems analyst is responsible forthe knowledge transfer of business requirements to the application developers. f. The business analyst shall be able to make cogentarguments recommending a course of action g. The Business analyst needs to scour throughenormous amounts of information in the business area they support to find thesalient points. h. New business patterns happen all the time anddetecting them can provide a significant advantage. The business analyst shallbe able to identify and address the change in the business process i. The business analyst shall understand the varietyof standard ideas and methods for requirements gathering and translate what thebusiness wants into IT requirements and functional design specifications j. The business analyst shall be able to create trustbetween Business and IT teams. k. The business analyst shall assist in identifyingand implementing various software solutions l. The business analyst shall provide applicationsupport for business users m. Thebusiness analyst shall have the ability to write conversion, interface, reportsand extension functional design specification n. The business analyst shall have experiencesupporting data cleanup, data conversion and reconciliation activities o. The business analyst shall have experiencesupporting month-end and year-end activities, including reconciliation p. The business analyst shall be able to reviewdesign specifications developed by other analysts and provide feedback ondesign documents. q. The business analyst shall be able to write whitepapers and solution recommendations as needed r. The business analyst shall be able to supporttesting and conduct training s. Formulates and defines systems scope andobjectives based on user needs and a thorough understanding of business systemsand industry requirements. t. Devises or modifies procedures to solve complexproblems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operationtime, and form of desired results u. Includes analysis of business and user needs,documentation of requirements, and translation into proper system requirements
Specifications. Education: 1. Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology,Finance, Business, Accounting or related field, or 2. The equivalent combination of education andsuccessful work experience (10 years) and 3. CPA Certification is highly desirable
Qualifications:OracleProduct Functional Specialist Level 2– Budget to Report ProcessArea: 1. 12+ years of Business Analyst experience(Required) 2. 12+ Years of Software Development Lifecycleexperience (Required) 3. 12+ years of requirements gathering anddocumentation experience (Required) 4. 12+ years of MS World/Visio/Excel/Word/PowerPointexperience (Required) 5. 12+ years of Oracle Financials EBS/Cloud Suiteexperience 6. 12+ years of experience working as an OracleFunctional Subject Matter Expert/SME (Required) 7. 12+ years of experience with month-end andyear-end closing and reconciliation (Required) 8. 8+ years of experience providing productionsupport for Oracle EBS/Cloud Application 9. 8+ Years of Oracle ERP Cloud General Ledgermodules (Required) 10. Expertisewithin the Oracle Cloud ERP suite. Specific expertise is required within thefollowing modules: General Ledger and Budgetary Control. 11. Experiencewith Public Sector implementations |
