Job Description:

 

Looking for an AI Analyst to assist in brining AI technology and techniques.

  

The position functions as an AI analyst responsiblefor implementation and oversight of artificial intelligence systems. This includes working with our client to develop guidance on the responsible and ethical use of AI, helping identify agency needs and suitability of AI solutions, and defining standards for AI-enabledsoftware procurement and evaluation.

 

MAJORDUTIES

Works with agencies to identify processes and operations that could benefit from AI/ML solutions.

Conducts feasibility studies for AI solutions by analyzing costs, data requirements and expected benefits.

Research applicable AI solutions and presents recommendations to stakeholders and decision makers.

Documents detailed project requirements from internal and external customers.

Implements strategies to improve transparency and interpretability of AI systems and communicates insights to stakeholders.

Works with AI Developer to assess potential AI/MLsolutions for potential bias and ethical risks, including but not limited toperforming bias audits, analyzing model decisions and errors among impactedgroups, and recommending techniques to mitigate bias.

Works with AI Engineer to continually monitor systemperformance and communicate issues with external stakeholders, such as systemfailures, performance degradation or data inconsistencies.

Research regulations and best practices for publicsector AI, including tracking proposed laws and ethical AI frameworks andprovides recommendations to align the client's AI strategy with publicinterests.

Assist in the development of policy and governancearound AI and ML.

Contributes to committees and groups focused on datagovernance.

Performs other related duties as assigned.

 

KNOWLEDGEREQUIRED BY THE POSITION

Ability to work with diverse stakeholder groups tocreate collaboration and buy-in to implementation of data management standards,policies, and best practices.

Experience coordinating, documenting, analyzing, anddeveloping technical and functional business needs and workflows to identifypotential solutions.

Experience developing or assisting in developing AIsolutions for public sector organizations.

Knowledge of regulations and ethical considerationssurrounding government use of AI technologies.

Experience conducting bias audits on training dataand machine learning models.

Knowledge of AI model interpretability techniques.

Experience with developing standards, practices, andpolicies.

Experience creating Key Performance Indicators(KPIs) and metrics associated with models to measure performance.

Knowledge of the AI/ML development lifecycle as apart of the Test-Evaluate-Verify-Validate framework.

Knowledge of concepts and regulations related todata privacy.

Strong researching skills and the ability to createsummaries and reports for agency executives.

Strong communication skills, both oral and written.

Strong organizational skills with the ability towork both independently and collaboratively

 

JOBDESCRIPTION

Responsibilities:

1.   Formulates and defines systemsscope and objectives based on both user needs and a thorough understanding ofbusiness systems and industry requirements.

2.   Devises or modifies proceduresto solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity andlimitations, operation time, and form of desired results. Includes analysis ofbusiness and user needs, documentation of requirements, and translation intoproper system requirements specifications.

3.   Provides consultation oncomplex projects and is considered to be the top level contributor/specialistof most phases of systems analysis, while considering the business implicationsof the application of technology to the current and future businessenvironment.

 

MinimumEducation/Certification Requirements      :

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or relatedfield or equivalent experience; or a current Project Management

Professional (PMP) Certification
