Position               :  Business Analyst (Life / Health Insurance) Location               :  Chicago, IL Duration              :  6+ Months Required Skills:   Around 8 years’ experience in Life/Health insurance operation process in a reputed insurance company. Hands on experience of Life/Health Insurance Business Processes: New Business, Underwriting, Policy Servicing and Claims processes and Actuary knowledge with reference to Life/Health products in NA market. Previous experience of testing project in Health and Life Insurance. Prior experience as business analyst is preferable. Certification from any recognized insurance institute is preferable. Training / Experience on a leading Life/Health Insurance Industry PAS product (Will be excellent if it is on Inspro – Inspro Technologies). Expertise across Health, Life Insurance / Group Insurance domains Involvement in two or more major testing projects in BFSI (Health/Life Insurance domain). Good Documentation and Communication Skills Job Responsibilities: Understanding the customers LOB / Products, Riders and State Variations and translating them to testing requirements. Identifying test scenarios and creating testing plans. Understand functional specifications and interface documents and do gap analysis from testing point of view Generate input parameters from product and interface documents and suggest expected test results. Effectively communicate with internal and external teams. Acting as an interface between business units & testing teams Ensure timely preparation of test cases. Ensure issues are identified, tracked, reported on and resolved in a timely manner. Work with client personnel to identify required changes.
