Job Code: VDEREST_LINUXADMIN_CA  Job Title: Linux AdminEngineer Location: Menlo Park, CA Duration: Full Time   JOB DESCRIPTION: ·         Package release and deployments thru roll jobs: ( Tools in use : ControlM) ·         Application Support: Able to debug issues on java , Apache and middle-ware applications . ·          Requirement Analysis and Planning for Performance testing ,Identify PLT requirements with DEV Team,                             Performance testing  Scenario designing and planning. ·         Test Data Setup, Prepare Scripts to simulate Virtual users load. ·         Performance Testing and Result Analysis: ·          Able to perform Root Cause analysis on critical and re-occurring issues.   Skill Sets: ·         Linux Expertise. ( 4+ year exp. ) ·         PHP/Perl/Shell Scripting . ( 2+ year exp.) ·         Sound knowledge of current Web technologies e.g. markup languages, programming interfaces and languages, and standards for document identification and display. ·         Sound Knowledge of Apache and Tomcat . ·         Sound knowledge of performance analysis and tuning. ·         Basic knowledge of SDLC and  Testing cycle e.g. Agile Testing. ·         Performance testing tools e.g. Loadrunner/ Winrunner is a plus.
